The group Ñukanchik Llakta Wawakuna, which in the Kichwa language means, Our Kids from Our Village was founded in the community of Corona, New York in 2012.
Ñukanchik Llakta Wawakuna will be present at the Mi Gente! Latinx Music Festival, which will take place on Saturday, August 20th at 12PM in the Bronx, along with many more artists. Family event and for all communities!
On July 28, Wawakuna will be present along with collaborators like Tukuylla Jatarishun & Comunidad Andina, to share their Andean culture to the world through a presentation of folk dance and music. It will be held at 7PM in the Queens Museum.
Wawakuna will be present to support with its energy and dance on Saturday, July 2 at the Gran Bingo Bailable! More details are included in the flyer.
